Swimming opportunities
There a 10 beaches around Ayvalik, which you can reach by bus or boot. Enjoy the 8 km long Sarimsakli beach or the quiet beach at Çataltepe. There are no directly swimming opportunities in Ayvalık. The next beach is 3 km and the most far beach is 10 minutes by Dolmuş,
Location
The guest house Kelebek Pension is surrounded with houses in the neo-classical architectural style. All old town houses are of the greek times of the town and gives the city a wonderful romatic touch. Close to our guest house there are restaurants, barbers and many shops in a walking distance.
We are located in a 3-minute walking-distance to the cafés and restaurants which are directly at the sea side.
All 5 double rooms have their private facilities. We offer 24 hours hot water with clean rooms and a friendly service. Some are equiped with a air-conditioner and a wonderful view of the sea. Rooms which are without air-condition have ventilators.

How to come to Ayvalik
The next airport is in Izmir. It takes you just 2 hours per car or bus to get to Ayvalik.
From Istanbul: You can take a direct bus or first take the ferry to Bandirma and then the bus to Ayvalik (short way).
From Istanbul
With ferry to Bandirma - From Bandirma with coach/car to Ayvalik 223km
Ferry Ferry to Yalova - From Yalova with coach/car to Ayvalik 340km
From Greece: Just take the ferry from Lesvos and you
are in 1 1/2 hrs in Ayvalik. are in Ayvalik (1 1/2 hrs.)
